I bought a cover from a seller in Algeria. Due to Lockdown he could not send it immediately. He sent the item more than a month ago but I have not received it. He is not responding to emails nor he is tracking his item with Algerian Posts. Delcampe will not open a dispute as the transaction happened more than 90 days ago. But it was he who wanted more time because of the pandemic. Any idea what I can do about it. Thanks

Hi....If your seller has given you a tracking number, you can track yourself using an international free postal tracking site. This will provide information from date of posting worldwide

The one I use is trackitonline.org. Just enter the tracking number and destination UK. Free site and registration is not required

I often send from Philippines to UK. Nowadays that is taking about 4-6 weeks instead of the previous 2-3 weeks with delays in both the Philippines and UK postal services plus longer Customs clearance times.

If you are still not happy, you can make a chargeback for non receipt if you paid by paypal or credit card. I do not think Delcampe ever reimburse directly for non delivery.

    Covid-19 is delaying everything.

From Africa many countries are not offering any services so mailed items are being held often until a service resumes. Suppliers from these places have been using courier services like DHL as they are the only ones operating. Egypt being a good example for instance.

You can only wait until normal services resume. Royal Mail did have a web page with current postal service conditions world wide - not too sure if that is still operating but a Google search may find it.

The web page is still operational and was last updated very recently.

Scroll down to Algeria and see what is says.

Sorry not much help to you - Algeria is not listed probably because they have provided no information. If you speak French you can try the Algerian Post web site.l

I have just received two different auction lots from two different vendors both in India where the sale concluded in APRIL. They were tracked, and sat for a LONG time in India and then a long time in UK. You may just have to make allowances.

Thank you. Possibly yes as I do not have any option.
