Completely Crap Support

    Does anybody know of a telephone contact for Delcampe. I have been trying to connect to Delcampes API system for 18 months, and I am getting no help from support at all. They are either totally rubbish at trying to connect, or, more likely they couldn't care less. I have had sporadic answers from Xavier and Benjamin, but it seems that once they have answered they seem to think the job is done and I never here from them again until I chase.:angryfire: I have 18,000 items ready to list so you would have thought they might help. The last message I got was the Mr Delcampe would be involved....that was 29 day ago and still nothing. I would like to speak to them by phone but, rather unsurprisingly they don't have a phone number listed anywhere. Any help would be gratefully received.

    Your timing is rather unfortunate. Everything has been overtaken by the "upgrade" of the checkout system - that is the most likely reason why you haven't had any reply.

    I have about half a dozen of outstanding messages and normally they are really good at replying promptly.

    Your timing is rather unfortunate. Everything has been overtaken by the "upgrade" of the checkout system - that is the most likely reason why you haven't had any reply.

    I have about half a dozen of outstanding messages and normally they are really good at replying promptly.

    I may have accepted that the upgrade would divert the teams attention but for the fact that this has been going on for 18 months. Its like they offer a service, the API system, but nobody in support has the slightest idea as to how it works or what to do about it, so they just don't bother replying. I run my own million pound business and if my staff acted like this I would dismiss them!

    I use website.informer.com for phone nos, rankings etc of any website.

    The Delcampe phone contact details etc on on there in the 'whois' section after the Alexa rankings.

    I completely understand. But, believe me, support team is not the one to blame here. They put much pressure on the technical one to get replies.

    The fact your request was not handled anymore came to my attention recently. As, after the last big upgrade of the site (which was not as how it should have been), I am now in charge of the Technical Management. Having decided to not work anymore with the previous person in charge.

    I remember I reminded myself at least one or two times him to follow your request (as support brought it every time to my attention).

    I will look now into my emails (many requests as yours in queue, unfortunately) to give you the followup.

    Just to close off this post; After Sebastien got involved the issues I was having were very swiftly dealt with and I am now 'live' using API.....Thanks Sebastien.

    ....by the way...API ROCKS!!
