Seller is not issuing the invoice on delcampe purchase

    Hi
    It is really the first time I meet weird seller on delcampe.
    The seller is refusing to invoice the delcampe purchase and wants me to pay him to his given private data PayPal and bank account outside delcampe system,
    I did not pay, because I suspect problem or even cheating attempt.
    I cannot proceed the purchase via delcampe system, because seller is not generating the invoice for 2 items I bought.
    What should I rather do with that?
    How to act properly?

    It's against Delcampe rules to transact outside their platform.

    I would not pay and leave the seller negative feedback for not allowing you to complete the transaction in the normal way, unless of course, the seller has not enabled any payment methods and states in their "sales conditions", that payment information will be provided after the sale.

    It's against Delcampe rules to transact outside their platform.

    I would not pay and leave the seller negative feedback for not allowing you to complete the transaction in the normal way, unless of course, the seller has not enabled any payment methods and states in their "sales conditions", that payment information will be provided after the sale.

" Delcampe will have the fees and comissions, because the items are officially purchased on Delcampe. But of course I will not pay outside the system, because the sellers behaves weird and yet he repeatedly reminds me that he invoiced me to my email!

" Delcampe will have the fees and comissions, because the items are officially purchased on Delcampe. But of course I will not pay outside the system, because the sellers behaves weird and yet he repeatedly reminds me that he invoiced me to my email!

    If you are able to pay using a method like Paypal where you are protected against fraud or by credit card where you can chargeback on a fraudulent deal then there is no reason not to pay your seller.

    This is reinforced if the sellers terms and conditions have stated the payment systems and methods he allows As far as I can see he is breaking no rules as Delcampe will get all due commissions on the sales.

    If there are likely to be problems then any negative feedback left should highlight them. If your seller has an exemplary sales record that is yet another reason to pay him.

    Typically PayPal is integrated into Delcampe on the ID of seller.
    There should not be a case of declining to send the invoice via Delcampe platform.

    It really does not matter how you pay him so long as you use a method where you have fraud protection.

    Some sellers use Paypal accounts other than their own because they reside in countries where Paypal is not available.

    When I travel I sometime ship items from the places I am visiting - for example Rwanda - but I am paid through a Paypal account in the UK.

    Who knows what the reasoning of your seller is - but so long as he is not breaking any rules and has his payment methods clearly indicated in his terms and conditions - how he is paid is up to him and not the buyer who has the option of not buying if he disagrees.

    As a buyer, I have some items purchased, sitting there un-invoiced forever. No reasons given. One smart guy waited 3 months before invoicing, as you know after 3 months I cannot open a case against seller...

    Your 'smart guy' was probably a seller who had few sales so rarely checked his Delcampe account.

    There are some sellers on here with accounts that have had no activity for ages. Maybe Delcampe should have a system of flagging these inactive accounts and suspending them for non activity so the account holder has to be pro active in keeping his account live?

    He has 2082 feedbacks since year 2012, of them only 6 negatives. Were buyer and seller at once. He is registered in Ukraine, and in words says, he has no access to his normal invoicing. Last seen for less than 24h. and latest obtained feedbacks are on April,28 2022...
    All "sounds" realistic and nice. But his unwillingness to do the invoice worries me.
    I do have doubt about his account to have had been cracked or something...
    His own explanations do not assure me to pay his offered "side way" of my official purchases!
