Delcampe restricts me from selling to USA Americans until I supply a TIN number. Since I am not a business I do not have a Business TIN number. I am a private seller.
And also, I can not update my sales conditions because of this. I need to constantly update my sales conditions, so why in any case do you restrict me from updating the conditions. You are turning away my collectors. Please rectify. - Geoff
You will need to enter your National Insurance/Social Security or National Identity card number as you are a private seller. This is a US requirement not a Delcampe one.
The past two months, we have informed our members over the INFORM Consumers Act. This US Law is forcing any seller (private and professional) to provide their Tax ID number in order to be able to sell to US citizens.
By providing your TIN, it means that your items are available to US members.

But I am New Zealand citizen and I am not in the USA. I don't have any of those things. In any case, why freeze up my sales conditions where I could explain to US buyers about the tax requirement that I can not yet meet.

We in NZ do not have National Insurance/Social Security or National Identity card numbers. I understand that it is the US IRS who are doing this. I can't see why my sales conditions can not be changed in any case. I need to explain to collectors about the situation. They just keep going down the sales line and getting frustrated when they find that can't buy. Most if not all -so far, will not buy because they will get taxed for a private sale. So the sale is lost and Delcampe lose the revenue.
There are other NZ sellers on this platform that have presumably somehow met the requirements - perhaps contacting another seller from your country may make things clearer to you.
Your only alternative if you cannot or are unwilling to supply the details needed is to lose your sales to the USA.

If you can't or don't want to fill your Tax Identification Number, you can remove the United States from your delivery destinations and you'll be able to change your sales conditions.
