    Hi,

    what is a "Publish rate limitation" ?

    There is no information about this in the docu. But I get such errors.
    So please explain, what is a Publish rate limitation, and which limit I have reached.

    Hello cartespostales_de,

    A 24 hour limit on sales was put in place a few days ago.
    You should have received a communication to inform you about this.

    It is no longer possible to put more than 10,000 items on sale in 24 hours. Once this limit is reached, you will receive the error you mentioned.

    Is there a documentation about this ? with reponse samples ? we would like to implement a rate limiting in our app to avoid this error but we need to know how it works to create mock.

    Here is the response you get when you POST /item when you have reached your limit:

    Why are you limiting yourself??? The sellers want to sell as much as they can. The customers want to buy as much as they can. So why are you limiting you own stock???
    I do not understand this practise. We are selling since several years always in respect your terms and conditions. And when you write, the limit is sufficient for the most sellers, so why do you need such a limit ? To limit a small part of your sellers with the most items ? :question: Why ?
    Why do you not want to sell more ? Why do you want to sell less ??? :dunno:

    OK, this is technical forum, I think you can not answer this. So just take it as a notice, I am not amused.

    But when you start such a blocking, why in hell there is no access to this limits?

    I really hope you forgot to write "The documentation >>> and the call where you can check your current rate <<< will soon be adapted."

    I'm the software engineer of xdm.it. We have all customers blocked. Documentations is very poor, we don't know WHEN the daily counter is cleared
    At the moment all listing request fails.
    Support is like a "mamas and papas company" :)

    you need to list 10,000 items per day
    This is a very stupid limitation. No one think to limit SELLERS to sell items. Delcampe earn commissions, but apparently is not interested on a great support to sellers. Porbably they earn lot of money with external advertising on all pages :)
    Lot of issues appear and are fixed after 1/7/10/15 (or never) days

    Hello Klarkashton10,

    The rate limitation is set to 10k by 24 hours.
    You can get the count and renew date with this call Lien (https)
    You also get headers when posting a new item Lien (https)

    Limitation are mainly made to avoid service denial.
    It also preserve publish time for everyone and limit list flood (which is not good for your sales stats).
