Missing images for new items

80% to 90% of the images are missing from newly uploaded articles! All images are on the same server and there are images for every article. This also always concerns about 10 images in about 5000 lots in prestige format

There would be a number of ways to fix the problem. First, you could simply link the original images. This does not cost any server time at Delcampe and does not occupy any space. Second, one could build controls into the Delcampe software. 1st step: does the image file exist on the customer's server? 2nd step, copy the image file from the customer server to the Delcampe server. 3rd step, check if the image was really saved successfully on the Delcampe server!

The problem occurs again and again! Please fix it immediately!

Another problem: If you have uploaded a new article via the API interface, it takes hours, sometimes almost a day, until the new item is published. With any other platform, I get a response from the server and the newly assigned article ID and the item is online.

    Hello nordphila,

From what I can see from our logs most of your images return 404. (example: Client error: `GET Lien (http) ` resulted in a `404 Not Found`)
I can also see `503 Service Temporarily Unavailable` errors. Probably due to a lack of load capacity of your servers.

These 2 errors cause a delay in the processing of your articles. When our servers can't find the images, we have a time staggered retry system that can cause delays in publishing the sale.

In short, be careful with the links you use for your images and make sure they are accessible to our servers.

    Kind Regards,

Hi, I added 1000 listings yesterday and all the images are missing. I don't see any errors in my logs. Can you check please. Thanks, Rod

    Hello koalastamps,

I can see in our logs '403 Forbidden' errors. (example: for the image Lien (http)

Hi Thomas, I have an issue with missing images again. Listings are updating except for the image, I'm now missing thosuands.
Anything in you logs to help? For example, for Item n° #1693555753.
Is there any issue preventing images uploading?

    Thanks,
    Rod

This is still ongoing. My site is a wreck right now.
Is it possible my images are stuck in a queue? There would be thousands going back days.

Hi Thomas, I think I've found my issue. Please ignore my last two posts for now.
    Thanks,
    Rod
