Error updating product

    When sending Curl for updating a product we retrieve following response.

    [error] => err_missingDeliveryDestination, err_missingActivatedPayment, err_missingDescriptionShippingAndHandling

    However, i cannot find information about the fields for the product update in API documentation.

    When products where created these fields were not send.

    What is missing, and how to resolve?

    To sell on Delcampe, you must define your payment methods and your sales conditions. To do so, you can set them up via this link Lien (https)

    Hello Thomas,

    I checked them, and that is all set already before.

    The errors we get throw up recently, before we had no issues selling products using API to provide them to Delcampe.

    So what is causing this issue?

    Hello Marcel,

    The error you encounter usually means that information is missing to be able to sell on Delcampe. (Create or update an item)
    If your shop is configured and this link Lien (https) redirects you to the sale page, then please tell me which call you are making and for which item.

    Hello Marcel,

    I found out what was wrong with the item id you sent me. The error message is not correct.
    You cannot update the item because it has already been sold at least once.

    We will correct the error messages, sorry for the inconvenience.

    So recapitulating: when an item is made on Delcampe site with API and pieces are sold, product update (POST) is not possible?

    We then need to delete the product from Delcampe, and add newly the product with updated values.

    Correct? If so, please add this remark at the API docs, i think i will not be the only one facing this problem.

    Hello Marcel,

    It is correct. You cannot update an item (notice that it is PUT /item/:id) that has already been sold.
    You can actually close the item on the site (DELETE) and create a new one (POST) with the new values.

    Following your remark, I will update the documentation to specify it.
