Problems with ApiREST

    Hello,

We have detected some inconsistencies in our server with the treatment of data types. We would like to know what kind of treatment they carry out with the price if it is sent as a floating number or as a string, because we have observed very
important variations in some articles. At yet, we have always used the floating number format.

In order to fix the problem we should upload all the items to your server again. Is there any problem if we eliminate them all and upload them again?

    Best regards

While we await your response, we will initiate a synchronization process that only renews those items that we have verified that do not coincide with our stock or our current sales conditions.

    Hello Jordi,

You can completely remove your items and put them back for sale. On the other hand if you have a bid on an item you will not be able to edit it and you will lose the bid if you delete it.

It's up to you to see what you prefer.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for you quick response, Thomas.

As you have proposed, after eliminating all the items that were previously for sale, we have executed a loading process through your 'bulk' service of the restful api. And we have two considerations in this regard:

    1) Virtually in each call made to the 'bulk' service we have obtained an incomplete response to about the updated items. For example, after sending 100 items with different references, we only receive information about 70 or 80 of them. What has happened to the rest of the items? Has an error occurred with them? We don't know anything, because there is no information about them in your answer.

    2) After completing the entire process we know that approximately 286,000 items have been uploaded. However, two days later there are only about 106,000 items for sale. Is it possible that they are in a queue pending to be managed by your api? If we start a synchronization process to upload the missing ones, will there be a risk of duplicate entries?

    Kind regards,
    Jordi

    Hello Jordi,

We have had server problems in recent days. Usually, the creation and / or modification of objects are placed in a queue. But because of server problems, some elements of this queue may have been lost.
Server problems are normally solved so that you can update your shop.

We're really sorry for this inconvenience,
    Best Regards
