Control impressions promotional
advertising machine postmarks from the 40th, 50th, 60th and 70th
years of the last century.
Czechoslovak postal administration after the liberation in 1945,
once again - as in the first and second pre-war republic - used in
advertising and promotion to correspondence mailings embossing
(stamping) machines, Czech called "rotoražeč".
These machines (hand or electrically powered) contained two the
daily postmarks and the two fields, usually filled with wavy lines
and straight lines. A rotating movement so the upper part of the
postal correspondence (envelopes) also undermined postage stamps
attached.
In the case of replacing wavy advertising or promotional texts were
following procedure. Engraver first carrying out the engraving of
both fields (printing blocks). These could be the same, or each can
have a different form. This single imprint of was used for the
control of the accuracy of language and its own engraving. Also
used as a control quality work of the engraver, and thus as a basis
for the payment of wages. Usually it was thus manufactured ten to
fifteen test imprints.
Subsequently, he was performed imprint of in both fields (printing

postmark of the relevant post office, which was not in the
engraving workshop available. Final test imprints with the two
fields were made about five to ten pieces. After the inspection of
