My success as a stamp seller depends on you being pleased as a stamp purchaser. Please note that my selling prices include the commission collected by Delcampe. Thus the only additional charge to you is the mailing expense, which is the price of the stamps on the envelope, and I charge no handling charges.
Please do not make any payment until you receive my invoice.
I ship from the United States, so stateside customers will pay an additional $US 0.73; international customers will pay $US 1.65 - in both these mailings, I follow the Delcampe policy, that because of the lower cost of mailing, that the buyer assumes the risk of non-delivery or loss in the mailings.
For the more valuable purchases, I recommend a US Flat Rate Mailing which requires a record of delivery and has an insurance coverage. The cost of this is approximately $US 24.00 international - it varies by country - it can be as high as $50 in countries where mail theft is prevalent - but will be approximately $US 7.00 stateside. In this way, we are both protected. Let me know at the time of purchase if you desire the assured delivery.
If you make multiple stamp purchases at approximately the same time, up to about 50 stamps can be included in a single mailing to save you a lot of money. Let me know if you intend to possibly make multiple purchases, and I can delay the first mailings until you accumulate a quantity purchase. Let me know if you are intending to make such multiple purchases perhaps over several days and over several searches. At Delcampe, my listings are under my code: dv9159 - so - buy > search > advanced search > by seller ≥ dv9159 - will find my over 8,000 listings.
I use the US Scott catalog for the year and number of my stamp offerings, and I describe the stamp on the offering page as best I can. I will list other catalog numbers (Deegam, Stanley Gibbons, Michel, NVPH, Yvert and Tellier) when I have them. I also describe, in words, the condition of the back of the stamp. Please use the scan of the stamp and my description to be certain of the condition of the stamp you are purchasing and to identify the stamp in whatever catalogue you are using.
If you do not receive the purchase within 30 days, contact me to see if I made any mistakes from my end - I sent it to wrong address? - the letter was returned to me for incorrect postage? - failed to send the order out? - or whatever? These sometimes happen – though infrequently. If I did ship it, and you didn't receive it, it went missing in the mails, and we will have to figure out what to do. If there is anything wrong with the order - missing stamp, wrong stamp, damaged stamp, whatever - let me know as soon as possible so we can get things corrected.
Please be assured that I will process your order and mail off the stamps as soon a payment is confirmed - unless you want to delay shipment to accumulate a stamp quantity purchase in one mailing.
I will delay filing a rating for you until after I receive notice that you received the stamps and you are satisfied with the transaction.
If you are not happy in any way, communicate with me, and we will resolve things - I am only happy, if you are happy.
