    Hi,

in the section of Bank transfer should be also IBAN included,
now there is account number and BIC, that is not enough for a bank transfer,

hope the webmaster gets this message,

    all the best

There is another problem with this payment method that has been overlooked.

I am happy to accept bank transfers but for small payments I will add my bank's charge for small foreign payments which is £1. If I don't I will make a loss on small transactions.

Also bank transfers from European customers will originate in Euros and be converted to sterling. I like to agree the amount of euros paid where a bank transfer is involved.

There is nothing in the new system that will alert me to the fact that the customer wants to pay by bank transfer. Therefore, I cannot decide whether to include my bank charge and/or communicate the euro amount to be paid.

I don't wish to withdraw this option for payment so I don't want to 'deactivate' the option. However, I do want to review the invoice amount to be paid before settlement. As far as I can see Delcampe will no longer allow me to do this.

    Any thoughts Delcampe?

I also think that there is necessity for more comprehensive clarifications from Delcampe. Did the new system mean that buyer will get my bank account data before my invoice? In such case there will be again the problems with correct payments of shipping charges, which was in general removed when Delcampe recently give sellers option to block e-wallet usage by buyers before invoice is sent.

The problem is that the European customer will pay from a euro account for credit to my sterling account. This is effectively a foreign transfer payment and most U.K. banks make a charge for the inward payment. My bank only charge £1 for small payments under £100.

In the euro zone (SEPA) are no costs involved transfer money,
to the UK you should inform your buyers in your parameter about the surcharge

I do advise my buyers about the additional charge in my terms & conditions but sometimes it gets overlooked. The only control I currently have to ensure that the charge gets made is when the buyer asks for my BIC and IBAN numbers. At that point I know a bank transfer is contemplated and can sort things out with the buyer before the transfer is made.

With the new system already knowing my BIC & IBAN details this safeguard will be circumvented.

I agree, I have roughly the same problem: I have to pay extra bank fees if I do more than a certain number of operations (including receiving a bank transfer) each month on my bank account, so I decided to ask the buyer to add the bank fee for small bank transfers below 5 Euro.
I state this clearly in my terms and conditions in the "Message from the seller" section, but it seems that many buyers don't read that before buying; maybe Delcampe should allow us to add some text to the "Sales conditions" tab, where's plenty of free space.
I also agree with 123ugis that it's a potential source of problems if the buyer gets the bank account data before the invoice.

The IBAN will go in the account number box. I got mine all in, including the account name, which it then sorted to omit the spaces which show on my bank statement.
