    I wouldn't bother too much if I were you - the same cards still appear in the common-or-garden Marketplace listings

    I can't see it happening though - the dealers wouldn't be happy having their items split over two discrete sites

    Remember only those items with a BIN price of £/$/€ 20 qualify for Premium listing - everything else stays with the οι πολλοί

    Has anyone else noticed that, since the Premium idea was launched, a lot of the wording on My Delcampe has become a mangled 'Franglais'?

    Example: Under 'Sell' the section 'My Store' reads 'Ma Boutique'

    Also, click on the Stamps category in Premium and the list of categories is headed Timbres - and why is the subsequent list of countries (or counties in postcards) jumbled up? Surely it isn't now beyond them to sort alphabetically?

    Sorry Delcampe, but you really should try harder to get things right before releasing them into the wild

    I thought you would all have jumped at the chance to buy a Clovelly card for £45 or Piccadilly Circus for £35 or Buckingham Palace for £20. :dunno:

    You're really surprising me :grimace:

    So far I've looked closely at 2 European sellers, including their t&c's.

    If I read it right they signed a special ethics charter that obliges them to clearly display p&p charges and not to break any of Delcampe's t&c's.

    One I looked at has more or less written a book about his selling t&c's in the shipping & handling section of the listings, but.........I can't find his postage charges in amongst it.

    The other one surcharges 15c per item since the 1st of September - Delcampe t&c's state clearly that it is not allowed to pass selling fees on to the buyer.

    Undoubtedly SOME of the cards are pretty rare and worth the money to the right collector (check out the prices realised at SPA auctions for example) but the majority are pretty run-of-the-mill

    If I thought I could get £20+ for my Blackpool or London cards I'd change my status and sign up tomorrow!

    Undoubtedly SOME of the cards are pretty rare and worth the money to the right collector (check out the prices realised at SPA auctions for example) but the majority are pretty run-of-the-mill

    If I thought I could get £20+ for my Blackpool or London cards I'd change my status and sign up tomorrow!

    You're spot on there. SOME of them are worth the money to the right person.

    And "Premium" could be an excellent idea for those collectors who are looking for rarer/more valuable items only, but..............,

    it should be policed very strictly and have the overpriced trash removed from it.

    As it stands at the moment, us mere market stall holders could well benefit from it, because anyone who takes a look at it, will know which sellers to avoid.

    Items are automatically included in the Premium pot if the seller and item meets the criteria - they put items on the Marketplace as usual and they are copied/linked across

    There's still no check on geographical ignorance or sloppy listing unfortunately!

    Have you noticed the list of threads under this topic display with Page 0 at the bottom?
