First of all, let me say that on the whole I am very happy with Delcampe - it has opened new opportunities for me both as a seller and a collector.

However, I've run a "special offer this last week or so" - buy 5 items and get the cheapest one free.

I've had quite a few "troublesome" transactions in the last week, even though I've done everything possible to avoid this.

In several cases, because I could not see another way around it, I sent my customers invoices, deleting the cheapest item; however on clicking the "pay invoice" button the buyer gets presented with all outstanding auctions, rather then with the actual invoice and the p&p charge is excluded. Surely, when an invoice is sent and a customer clicks on the "pay seller now" or whatever the exact correct wording is, this payment should reflect the invoice!
I got 2 payments for all items, but without p&p. On 3 occasion I got paid for all items + p&p, even though on 1 of them I'd pre warned my customer that it might go wrong and to double check what he was paying me ( i got a "congratulations on getting the invoice right" and I've just paid you email, paying for 5 rather then 4 items!
In another case, as the cheapest items was lower then my p&p charge, I just put a lower p&p in, explaining to my customer what I'd done. This one went without any problems!

A regular customer (on Delcampe and another website I sell on), who has used integrated checkout for the first time here (previously used to log into her PP account to pay me directly), today paid me without adding the p&p. I've refunded and am now awaiting payment for the correct amount. On low value items I cannot afford 2 lots of 20p +% PP charges!

Finally, someone who only signed up today, purchased an item from me. I sent him an invoice, only to get a direct email along the following lines: "I am trying to pay you via PP, but it only shows the item value and not the p&p; any suggestions how I can pay you the correct amount?"
I replied, explaining to him what to do and this person has now paid me the correct amount, but it must be very offputting for a "newbie" to not be able to figure out how to pay your seller!!!!

As stated on another thread (where I was questioning if I was doing something wrong??? - (I know now that I wasn't) if a buyer clicks on a "pay seller" link from an invoice, this payment should reflect the actual invoice and nothing else!

    I totally agree with you.
On the invoices there should be a possibility to substract any discount from the total to be paid.
It's very confusing for the buyer when the discount is substracted from the p & p costs.
Besides you have a problem when the discount is more than the p&p costs!
