Selling Similar Items - Be Careful

    I have just noticed that when you use the 'Sell Similar items' process it sometimes gives back a message 'An error has occured, please try again'. Be careful when you see this statement as the item has actually been listed and you may be dupped into to putting it up again.

    This seems to occur if you don't upload a new image.

    For stamp selling of mint items a new image may not be necessary ... and hence the problem will occur.

    You are warned.

    I use the 'Sell' button and the next page I see confirms that the sale is accepted and enables me to list another item based on similar details. In this instance I will have to add a new image at the very least but remember I am starting from the 'Sell a similar item' link.

    All completely new listings I upload via Lister.
