    .......or maybe D should ban pp surcharges altogether (I think this is pp policy anyway) in common with a certain other major auction site.

    .......or maybe D should ban pp surcharges altogether (I think this is pp policy anyway) in common with a certain other major auction site.

    I agree with you on that one.

    The idea that charges are different depending on what payment method is used is a big NO as far as I am concerned.

    You don't walk into a High Street store expecting to be charged extra because you wish to use a certain payment method and online buying should be no different.

    The idea that charges are different depending on what payment method is used is a big NO as far as I am concerned.

    You don't walk into a High Street store expecting to be charged extra because you wish to use a certain payment method and online buying should be no different.

    Your argument is the opposite from mine.

    I said I don't expect to be charged extra for paying via a particular payment method.

    Haggling/bargaining to get the price down is a different matter and this can indeed be done on Delcampe via their lower bid/group offer facility. And I have managed to do it successfully on a few occasions in shops in the UK as well.
