    Hi sheilagbr,

    The stamps looks more like Scott 248 (1b black) to me: King Ferdinand. Issued in 1920. Printed on two papers: coarse, grayish paper with bits of colored fiber and thinner white paper of better quality.

    The stamps looks more like Scott 248 (1b black) to me: King Ferdinand. Issued in 1920. Printed on two papers: coarse, grayish paper with bits of colored fiber and thinner white paper of better quality.

    I have scanned the relative part. See image below or follow this link for the image Vinculo (http) On the left image (A53) the crown is indeed on the top left side.
