    I concur with 'mint' - literally as it came from the warehouse - but would include unposted stamps, either hinged or non-hinged, which are starting to look a bit 'tired' (i.e. grubby, worn edges, etc.) in the 'unused' category.

    Put simply, if they're not obviously used (cancelled) and aren't counter-fresh, then they're unused
