    I know that particular link didn't mention if it was a poisenous one, but like you say, now that you have a name you can do further research.

    I am currently being invaded by spiders here at home - it seems the colder weather is bringing them indoors, but nothing quite as big as that. I just keep removing the cobwebs on a daily basis. Outside I leave them well alone, because I think the cobwebs look really pretty, specially when they are accentuated by dew.

    Good morning Marianne,

    Not being much of an arachnophile I'll leave it to you and Cajun to debate that little beastie, but you have my sympathy with your unwanted house-guests - luckily(?) our house is built from rough stone with hundreds of little nooks and crannies so the walls are home to innumerable creatures - spiders, wasps, even sparrows seem to find somewhere to call home, so they rarely bother to venture into the house

    I don't mind the spiders themselves, but I don't like the spider webs indoors.
