Using API to bulk change Delcampe categories

    Hello, I tried to contact customer service for this issue but nobody answered. So I am trying here. Hope to be more lucky!

    I am interested in your Easy Store synch platform between ebay and
    delcampe. But I tried it on my other account and the big problem is that
    the ebay items are being imported in generic Delcampe categories. For
    example Finland stamp items are being imported into Finland > Unclassified.

    This is a huge problem.
    I already have the correct delcampe category for each item so my
    question is:
    after I import the items from ebay with Easystore, CAN I USE THE DELCAMPE API TO CHANGE THE DELCAMPE CATEGORIES IN BULK? If I am able to do that, very important question, will the fixed items continue to keep the new precise category (or will Easystore change back to unclassified category?). Also important question: will the synch between ebay and delcampe still work after my
    category change via delcampe api?

    I looked at the link you suggested and I found this resource:

    The definitiion of this resources says: "Call this resource to update an existing item. See Authorized Values to get the list of authorized values."

    If I go to authorized values page here:

    I can read on this page:
    "id_category
    This is the matching category on the Delcampe Marketplace Website
    Data type : integer
    Accepted values and their meaning : call /category"

    As far as I understand, I can update the category of each item via your API.

    What's wrong with my assumption? If I can update the categories via the delcampe API, I assume I can bulk update all my items, writing the correct script.
