On the first day of the auction, we are auctioning an impressive selection of classical Austrian philately and postal history. As always, with a focus on the first issue of 1850, but also showcasing a beautiful part of postal history from the later issues up to 1867 and unused stamps from the late issues of the monarchy and the First Republic. The resolution of the important collection of landscape series after 1945 by Dr. Stepniczka marks the beginning of the second auction day, which will again be rounded off with unused varieties and postal history of the Second Republic.
