Due to the forthcoming changes in Delcampe and the increase in buyers costs I am in the process of closing listings with the strong possibility of closing down my shop after 12 years of trading. Offers are invited on any remaining listings

    Hi Gemmament,

We would like to confirm that the transition to the new membership system will be smooth. When the new memberships are introduced, you will be given a free one-month membership tailored to the size of your shop. During this free month, you'll have to choose which membership you'd like to take out.

You will then have three options:

    - Continue with this membership and keep all your items for sale on Delcampe.
    - Reduce the number of items in your shop and choose a lower or even free membership:
To manage your sales, you will be able to close superfluous listings manually or use the multiple changes sale closing tool, which will be available free of charge for one month.

If you do not sort, the system will automatically close the oldest listings at the end of the month. These items will be accessible in the unsold items section. You will then keep in your shop the number of items corresponding to the membership you have chosen. If you have not chosen a membership during the month offered, your shop membership will automatically change to a "Free" membership with a maximum of 1,000 items online.

    - Opt for a higher membership if you want to increase the number of items for sale.
To check the current number of items in your shop, go to Sell > My shop > View my shop > View all items in this shop. A counter will also be set up on various pages to inform you of the number of items online once memberships have been activated. A detailed explanation page will be available as soon as the new system is launched.

Since the new subscriptions will not be launched right now, I wouldn't advise you to close your listings now.
It is best for you to wait until they are launched and you get your free-month subscription.

    Regards,
    Miranda

So, new rules start in April 2024. However my Gold membership runs to November 2024, will my Gold membership run until November? If it only runs until May (One month) do I lose 6 months of benefits?

Thank you Miranda for your reply, which confirms what I understood about the changes that are coming. It is evident to me that from the drop in sales already caused by the proposed changes, that will drop even more when buyers realise that they are being forced to pay more to be able to add to their collections. As a result I already know what level I will have to choose (if I decide to stay) to make this venture financially viable. May I take this opportunity to thank you and your team for help now and in the past

    Hello "kollectitnow",

The new subscriptions will not be launched on 2 April. We don't have a precise date yet.

For members with a Club+ Gold annual membership, this will automatically be converted to a Store Plus membership, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits at no additional cost until your current period expires. For example, if your Club+ Gold membership expires on 20 November 2024, it will become a Store Plus membership from the launch of the new service until 20 November 2024, at no additional cost.

For those with a Club+ Gold monthly membership, conversion to Store Plus will also take place at no additional cost until the end of the current monthly period. After that, you will have the option of renewing your membership at the updated Store Plus rate.

    Kind regards,
    Cecilia

One of the advantages of Gold-Club is the use of the API. That was the most important reason for me to subscribe to the club. I also paid until November and should actually be able to expect to be able to use the API until November without incurring any additional costs. So will I actually be able to use the API for the period I have already paid for and at no additional cost?

    Hi sammlerkalle,

The Club+Gold will be turned into the Store Plus membership.
However, the API will be a seperate membership called API Pass.

API sellers with an annual Club+ Gold subscription will benefit from API access until the end of their Club+ Gold subscription at no additional cost.
Once their subscriptions reaches its end and should they wish to keep on using the API, they'll have to have to subscribe to the API PASS (19.95€/month).

    KR,
    Miranda
