    Thanks for your suggestion. I tried the Valentine's website but, alas, it's not on there. No luck with the Frith's site either.

    Thanks but I'm not sure it's the same building. See the image of the rectory.

    I know the original building was changed a bit but I've not seen any pictures of the house resembling the one in the postcard above.

    Valentines have now added it, you still have to put the hyphen between JV and number JV-37159 thus (so I'm told!) but you might do better to look at Middleton Archaeological Societies website! In common with many rectories (old and even some new (like St Hilary near us) were too big for modern families (and combined livings) that it fell into disuse and was extensively rebuilt.
