    Hi,

The large text (on top) says: 'To their comrades, dead for France', which suggests the monument was erected by the unity/soldiers to which the buried soldiers belonged.

At the bottom, there is maybe 'Chalons', a place in France, but what is between the text on top and the one at the bottom?

    Best regards,
