Anyone got any idea where this card is from?

It came with a batch of vintage WW1 era cards. Possibly Salonika?

Caption in both English and French " British Camp - Old Castle and General View"

As always any help gratefully received.

    Hello,

This village is in France: Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or (Rhône department).

See Link (http) and the image below. Below right on this image you see the same castle as in the background of your image.

    Best regards

    Many thanks Qasar.

To begin I was a little dubious about you being correct here - but my own research has reinforced your opinion. There was a British presence in the town during WW1 - a military hospital and there are British War Graves in the cemetery. And, of course, the castle is the right shape as well.

So once again I salute your knowledge and appreciate very much your time in responding to my query.
