I am English and I don't think this is English or indeed anywhere in the UK.
It looks more like Eastern Europe?? Just a thought!

Eh, it says "STAMP HERE" in English only so I think it's safe to assume it must be from an English-speaking country......

Not necessarily - English is a common language for international postcard production

The style of the buildings puts me in mind of France

No I do not know which country your postcard is from, but I do not think it is anywhere here in the UK. Even our Medieval Castles were not built with cone shaped roofs, but they were on Mainland Europe.

Just to add , I agree with Bjornmu. The words "Stamp Here" is not an indication it is somewhere in England. The only "cone shaped" roofs we have here as far as I know are on Oast houses where hops for making beer are dried, but they are nothing like your picture shows at all in structure.

I'm Dutch and it doesn't look very Dutch to me.
France or Eastern Europe seems more likely.

Also the toes of clogs are not that turned up - looks more like leather boots of some description.

To add to that. I had some Polish postcards a while ago with people in clogs. I remember that, because it surprised me at the time, because I thought they were a mostly Dutch phenomena.

    Bonjour.
