Is there any information as to when were the first glossy postcards issued?
Did printing technology have this possibility in about 1915?

It depends what printing method you are referring to - collotype, phototype and photogravure cards exist on matt card sometimes with a thin transparent layer laminated on top, but real photo cards have existed on glazed card for a long time

I've had a look through my cards and the earliest dateable half-tone card I've got was posted in 1906 but was printed on smooth unglazed card

    An inconclusive result I'm afraid
