    Does anyone know what town/city this is?

    The reason I've taken Blackpool/Manchester as possibilities is, because it's posted from Shaw, but among other places there is a Palatine road in London, Goring on Sea and Wallasey

    This looks very much like the junction of the Palatine and Barlow Moor Roads - the bridge is the same, in which case it would be Withington, Manchester, not Didsbury

    According to here:

    - it's the junction of Palatine Road & Lapwing Lane (compare the house with the two dormers).

    That would put it in West Didsbury which is what it says on the card shown on the link above.

    The link in Woomik's first post is clearly the same place, so I've changed it to Didsbury, Manchester, as that is what is says in that image.
