I recently came across a group of postcards that depict scenes from some volcanic eruption in Japan and the flight of refugees.
Unfortunately captions are in Japanese only.
Can someone assist in identification ?

Volcanic eruptions in Sakurajima JAPAN on January 1914. The cards showing the situation and people in Kagoshima should flee from a calamity.
