    Hello to the Delcampe community!

I have started to sell my postcards on Delcampe very recently and still have some minor enquiries about the general functioning of the site.

Will appreciate if any can help me with this issue:

how to close an ended postcard sale when the buyer has not confirmed/does not want to tick item reception (he has in fact received it as feedback has been provided but has ignored my requests to mark the item reception box)?

    Thanks in advance!

Not too sure what you mean exactly, but I'll have a go at answering:

An auction is 'ended' by virtue of the fact that someone has bought the item, and it now appears in your 'Closed With Bids' list. It will remain there until you manually move it to the Closed(Archive) list using the tick box and Archive button; once there it will remain indefinitely until you choose to delete it (Delcampe say it will remain for three months before being automatically removed but in practice this seems to be a hit-and-miss affair)

You don't need to wait for the buyer to acknowledge receipt or leave feedback to do this

I know feedback is important in your early trading days, but don't get too hung up about it

As Somerset said, many buyers don't leave feedback - I have received 300 less feedback than I've given, from 100 less buyers; all you can do is shrug your shoulders and move on...

Thank you all for your support.

I will try to make my way as a seller step by step.

    We'll stay connected.
