Hi I have a large lot of German postcards to sell mainly 1950s/1960s some earlier. Many are nice views/buildings like in pictures some Greetings etc

How should I price these? Do they sell OK internationally??

Also I do not read German but have a German title so should I list the title in German?? Will buyers find them or am I better doing a translation. Many German buyers on this site???

If the area is not popluar am I better listing at low price say 50p- £2 each???

    Thanks Postcardshop

I find German cards quite slow going, especially the larger towns/cities.
Keep the titles in German - that's what Germans will be searching for.
If you're happy to list them low, I'd recommend it. If in doubt do a search on Delcampe international and see what they're listed for/have sold for.

Thanks for information. I am based in UK so best to list in UK and international section of Delcampe tor reach German postcard buyers???

I also notice these might sell better for stamps/cancels how should I go about this as I rarely list in Philately???

Personally I list everything "UK & International".
If you list on the German site, you're supposed to have your t&c's and item description in Geman and of course you have to accept payment in Euros, which is very costly if you do it through Paypal.

I don't use philately much; a question of investigating where to best list your items.
