Could this city be in England ?

Hi there,

This is a French almanac, published in 1918 by French Post Office.

We've been unable to locate this rugby game by the sea in France.

It's also very possible that the illustrator has just copied an original English print - I've seen that fairly often in sports newspapers...

Does this place sounds familiar to someone on the forum ?
