I understand that the stamps of some countries cannot be sold on Delcampe .
Is there a list of such countries.
Sometime ago one moderator asked me to take off from sale an item composed of several stamps of different countries because one stamps was from one of such prohibited countries.
I'd appreciate receiving such countries' listing.
    Thank you for your help.

    Ciao Lorenzo ,
    Grazie in tutti i modi.
    Un saluto cordialissimo
    Guido

It is not the stamps of a country that are banned but fake stamps usually issued in the name of a country. Many of the Niger, Djibouti, Rwanda, Equatorial Guinea etc recent issues one see listed depicting naked women, rock stars etc. are fakes produced in the name of that country which defrauds it of its revenues and enriches the crooks that produce and promote these items.

Then there are the fake items produced in the names of territories that never produced postage stamps or offer no postal service - Sahara Republic is a good example. There are thousands of 'stamps' issued in its name but it has no post offices!

To avoid problems used a 'good' catalogue or check online to see if an issue is genuine. Or ask on one of the many of the stamp forums on the Internet - or possibly here on this forum if you need an opinion on an issue.
