What to think of this stamp? It is described as "Excellent
condition". After the second bottle of wine I might agree.
    :whitewine: Nah.

Well things may be different for postcards. Tears and missing
corners, especially older postcards, may well be acceptable. I
    don't know, I am not a postcard collector. I don't know what's
    going on in that world.

But I am talking stamps here,
fairly recent issued stamps. Yes, older stamps, say pre-1900 may
also be acceptable with a missing perf or a small tear. I have
several of those and they stay in my collection because they are
    scarce.

Because the stamp in question is indeed
missing a large corner, I sincerely doubt that there is collector
who will describe this stamp as "excellent condition", especially
because other sellers/dealers are offering the same stamp in real
"excellent condition" by the hundreds. Hence, my point as marking
the seller as opportunistic. Even if it is being offered at only
0.10 euro it remains, in my opinion, worthless. I think any serious
stamp collector will agree. Unless I missed a scarce variety or a
print error or ... But if that were the case it wouldn't be sold
for 0.10 euro. It would be auctioned at Sotheby's.

    I
don't mind people listing these stamps. I just find its
"excellent condition" very awkward. Maybe in couple of years,
let's say the year 4000, this stamp will be so scarce that
collectors will pay top dollars to have it. And although I am still
young, I will be around to see that happen.
