Welcome to the shop!
Items listed in the shop are accumulated over the last 30+ years of collecting and hoarding. They are not listed for a living, hence the shop is not registered with Delcampe as a professional seller. Since we live in the beautiful Swedish countryside, there are 15 minutes by car to the nearest post office. That is also the reason why all auctions end on Saturdays, so it is possible to mail all paid shipments on Tuesdays.
All shipments get beautiful postmarks to go with the postage stamps that are usually used as franking - at no extra charge. Shipments are franked with se-tenants from booklets (not that commonly seen as postage). Motives of the postage stamps are chosen according to what the buyer seems to collect. You might drop a note with a special request.
Sending letters from Sweden is expensive when comparing to other countries in Europe. This fact has molded the sales conditions, and since it is not possible to compete with low shipping costs in other countries, the sales conditions are catering to an audience that are interested in purchasing somewhat more than a single postage stamp or cover. You are however more than welcome to purchase that single item that is missing in your collection. The flat rate shipping and handling fee comes in handy as you can buy as much as you wish for one invoice, and still only pay the flat rate s&h fee.
Payment and shipping
We only ship to the country registered with Delcampe. There are some countries to where we
do not ship for different reasons: 1. Countries that currently do not have postal exchange with Sweden. 2. Countries from where it is currently not possible to transfer payment with one of the secure payment methods that we accept: Delcampe Pay and
SEPA bank transfer. 3. Countries in economic and political turmoil.
SEPA bank transfers are also available to residents of countries outside the SEPA-area. This can be done using an online
remittance service. None mentioned, none forgotten.
Bank transfers in the local currency is accepted to bank accounts in Australia, Canada, Sweden and the UK. Exchange rates according to the Delcampe currency converter.
When sending cash concealed in a letter - please, only send undamaged banknotes (no coins), preferably folded in half. Nice postage is always appreciated.
Claims
Descriptions of items are made as correct and fair as possible, images are considered part of descriptions. Shipments are mailed using sturdy materials, and shipments to regions known for their moist environment are packaged to avoid soaking of the items. Returns are not offered. However, in case shipments appear damaged in a way that could affect the content (bent, soaked etc.), it is possible though to make a return, but
only in case the shipment has
not been opened. Unopened shipments for return must be handed to the local postal service and must be marked: "
Réception refusée" in French or "
Reception refused" in English and perhaps the same in the local language. Such returns will be refunded when received.
Feedback
We consider the deal and transaction completed when the buyer has received their purchased items and acknowledged their satisfaction. When the transaction is completed to the satisfaction of both parties, we will always leave positive feedback.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this to the end.
