1840 1d grey black Pl.1a IH, fine example having three good margins (just touched at base), tied by a fine red MC to a clean, neatly addressed entire from London to Lynn, Norfolk, very light filing crease affects adhesive, neatly b/stamped 'MY-9/1840' c.d.s, just three days after the first day of issue. A lovely cover with RPS Cert making no mention of imperfections. (1) Cat. £4800.
