1840 (19 Aug) env sent from Newport Pagnell to Brighton bearing 1d black 'IG' plate 3 with 4 neat margins tied by red Maltese Cross with manuscript '2' and 'More to pay' plus circular 'MORE TO PAY' double framed hand stamp & Newport Pagnell date stamp in the same red ink as the Maltese Cross, all on the address side, with arrival date stamps on reverse. No file creasing, very fine.
