DESCRIPTION

Original 1992 U.S. cassette release of Wish, one of The Cure’s most successful studio albums, issued on Elektra/Fiction Records. Features the iconic singles “High” and “Friday I’m in Love,” both highlighted on the original red hype sticker. The artwork by Parched Art (Andy Vella & Porl Thompson) carries the instantly recognizable red-and-blue abstract motif and surreal hand-drawn eyes.
This edition was manufactured and printed in the U.S.A. by Elektra Entertainment, and includes Dolby HX Pro encoding for enhanced playback quality. A core title from the band’s early-1990s era and highly sought after by cassette collectors and fans of original Elektra issues.
