ThunderTank was een van de eerste voertuigen in de eerste golf van Deluxe 4 inch voertuigen geproduceerd door Bandai Toys als onderdeel van hun speelgoedlijn gebaseerd op de ThunderCats (2011) tekenfilmserie. Het voertuig was gebaseerd op de tekenfilmversie van ThunderTank (2011).

Net als andere speeltjes in de sublijn was de ThunderTank uitgerust met de "ThunderLynx"-actiefunctie die geactiveerd kon worden door de meegeleverde 4 inch figuur aan het voertuig te bevestigen.

Ook bij het voertuig zat een instructieblad met illustraties waarin beschreven werd hoe elk figuur op het voertuig moest worden bevestigd en hoe het "ThunderLynx"-systeem van het voertuig gebruikt moest worden om te communiceren met andere speeltjes in de lijn.

Het voertuig kon ook gebruikt worden met de andere 4" figuren in de sublijn en de ThunderRacers. Het ThunderLynx-systeem van de tank bestond uit een aantal opgenomen zinnen, waaronder "ThunderCats Ho!", "ThunderTank Fire!" en "ThunderTank Launch!".

1. ThunderLynx-systeem: Dit voertuig had, net als veel van de figuren en voertuigen in de Bandai 2011 ThunderCats-lijn, het unieke "ThunderLynx"-systeem. Het voertuig was voorzien van een speciale magneet die geactiveerd kon worden door interactie met de figuren en andere voertuigen. De ThunderLynx-functie kon geactiveerd worden door de figuur in het voertuig te plaatsen.

1. Snarf-figuur: Het voertuig werd geleverd met een exclusieve, semi-articulaire, 4" geschaalde figuur van de Snarf. Deze figuur had een ingebouwde magneet en kon dus gebruikt worden om het "ThunderLynx"-systeem van het voertuig te activeren.

2. ThunderRacers: De ThunderTank werd ook geleverd met twee ThunderRacers. Dit waren kleinere versies van de voertuigen die Bandai apart uitbracht met de Lion-O en Tygra figuur. Deze voertuigen zouden onder de klauwen van de tank worden gemonteerd en konden met één druk op de knop worden afgevuurd.
