Un pistolet bien dans le jus avec de bons encastrements , un fonctionnement ferme aux 2 crans.

La monture est solide, mais on peut observer deux petits manques de bois à l'extrémité du fut , sans altérer la présentation , pas d' entures , les garnitures fer sont propres.

Les marquages bois et pièces sont tous présents.

Le pontet est frappé en son intérieur.

En 1792 , avec la révolution, les besoins en armes sont tels que les ateliers remontent des armes avec des pièces de stocks plus ou moins bonnes.

On répare, on remplace des pièces et on remonte des armes. La révolution verra réapparaître le pistolet 1763-66 après l’arrêt de la fabrication du modèle 1777 qui n'avait pas donné entière satisfaction.

On peut donc trouver des modèles qui paraissent "Ancien régime" mais qui sont réalisés avec des platines et des canons de stocks remontés durant la révolution sur des bois neufs avec des garnitures en fer et sans ressort de baguette.
