Tribute is paid to these relations through the illustrative depiction of two magnificent water landscapes, where each is reflected in the other. Featured are the viewpoint of Samed Nang Chee (or Samet Nangshe) overlooking Phang Nga Bay in southern Thailand and Lake Bachalp up above Grindelwald. It is not just the reflections that are remarkable, but also the fact that the sun is rising over the Thai bay and setting over the Swiss mountain lake, symbolizing the time difference. The 100-centime stamp, which can be used in Switzerland, features the Swiss lake, while the 200-centime stamp showing the Thai bay can be used internationally.
Gewürdigt werden diese Beziehungen durch die illustrative Darstellung zweier wunderschöner Wasserlandschaften, wobei sich jeweils die eine in der anderen spiegelt. Es handelt sich um den Aussichtspunkt Samed Nang Chee (oder Samet Nangshe) mit Blick über die Phang Nga Bay im Süden Thailands und den oberhalb Grindelwalds gelegenen Bachalpsee. Dabei sind nicht nur die Spiegelungen bemerkenswert, sondern auch die Tatsache, dass symbolisch für den Zeitunterschied bei der thailändischen Bucht Sonnenaufgangsstimmung herrscht, während am Schweizer Bergsee gerade die Sonne untergeht. Bei der national verwendbaren 100-RappenMarke befindet sich oben der Schweizer See, beim internationalen 200er-Wert ist es die thailändische Bucht.
Les illustrations de deux paysages aquatiques grandioses qui se reflètent chacun l’un dans l’autre mettent à l’honneur ces relations bilatérales. Il s’agit du point de vue panoramique Samed Nang Chee (également appelé Samet Nangshe) avec vue sur la baie de Phang Nga au sud de la Thaïlande et du lac de Bachalp situé au-dessus de Grindelwald. Non seulement les reflets sont particulièrement remarquables, mais ils incarnent également le symbole entre l’atmosphère du lever du soleil qui règne sur la baie thaïlandaise coïncidant, du fait du décalage horaire, avec le soleil couchant sur le lac de montagne suisse.
