Two rare original invitation-publications related to exhibitions by Georges Hugnet in Paris (1954 and 1962), each combining typographic design, visual art, and contributions by major figures of surrealism and Dada.
1. De l’Image ou La Septième Face du Dé

Printed on fine paper (21 × 13.5 cm), four pages plus a translucent overlay (papier calque).
Includes:
- A preface titled “Préface-collage ou Menu déchiré en belle vue” by Jean and Marguerite Arp, dated January 1962.
- A printed collage by Georges Hugnet: “Rose foudre pour éclairage nocturne des jardins d’agrément.”
- A movable printed translucent overlay with a typographic pun by Marcel Duchamp:
“Il arrange or, jus n’y est” (captioned: “Hilarant Georges Hugnet”).
Well-preserved with minimal signs of age.
2. Œuvres Graphiques
