Dear friends,

You find here a detail of the last modifications and improvements made to the site like some statistics showing the good health of our community of collectors.

2.1. New system for bidding
------------------------------
It is now possible to modify the proxy bid made for an item.
Just enter a new proxy bid and the previous one is modified. That allows a more flexible management of your bids and prevents bidding against yourself.
This system is active since Sunday January 20.

I had promised this new system to some of you for a few weeks now and hope that you will be satisfied of it.

2.2. New possibility for "My account"
---------------------------------------
In the list of your running bids, it is now possible for you to see the proxy bid defined.
This possibility is active since Sunday January 20.

2.3. Adding your photograph on the site
-----------------------------------------
It is not really an innovation (this possibility is offered for a few weeks already) but, considering the many emails received about it, I will explain it again.
These photographs (even logos) help the site to be more user-friendly. It is reassuring for a visitor to know that there is somebody corresponding to a nickname. That facilitates the communication between members.
To add your photograph, just go, on the site, to the page "My Account". You click on the button "Modify my coordinates" and use the form placed at your disposal. The addition of the photograph occurs towards the end of the form.

2.4. Add a message "My Delcampe.com eXperience" on the main page

Many of you contact me in order to know how to display a message "My Delcampe.com eXperience" on the main page of the site.
It is extremely simple; Just send me your message (+ possible photograph or logo) by email to the address mailto : info@delcampe.com . On my side, I endeavour to put the message on the site in the 24 hours following his reception.
I remind to you that the new members who are registered when your message is on the screen become automatically your "Sponsored member". That can enable you to gain many points for the contests.

3. End of the contest
=======================
January 31 at midnight will end the taking into account of the inscriptions of your sponsored members.
I draw your attention to the fact that the contest will end concretely only on February 15 at midnight so that the sponsored members lately registered have time to close their transactions and to receive the ratings making possible to take them into account for the contest.
In short, are count for the contest: the sponsored members who registered between December 15 and January 31 and who received their positive first rating before February 15.
In the event of equality in the number of points, we will take account of the number of ratings received by the sponsored members.

4. We are searching translators
=================================
You certainly noticed it; Delcampe.com becomes very popular! This is why we decided to offer the accessibility of the site to people who use other languages that English, French and Dutch.
We currently seek people whose mother tongue is one of the languages mentioned below and who could translate from French or English to their mother tongue.
Languages: English, Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian.
