    Hello Postman.

    I agree with our cousin Cajunrs1, it's a cinderella.
    The oak leaves in the top corners are very usual in Germany as a symbol of hunting associations or gids or "Waldschutz" etc, etc...

    But here, the jacket and hat seems similar to the student clothing of this period. Each university has a different color(s) on the edge of the "kepi".

    Maybe you can try on the german forum
