    Delcampe now requires to choose payment method to current subscription. But if I choose PayPal I must agree to use my MasterCard for automatic payments to Delcampe. But I don’t want to use funds from my bank account for these payments. I prefer pay from funds, which are on my PayPal account. I guess that Delcampe have no authority to usurp control over my payment practices and this is infringement of my rights. There must be option to choose what funds can be used for payments to Delcampe, as it is for all other payments through PayPal.

    The system does allow you to use your PayPal balance to pay fees. If you go on through the PayPal procedure, including logging into your PayPal account to set up the monthly payment charge, it will tell you that the fees will be paid from your PayPal balance.
    If you don’t have enough money in your PayPal account then, as with any other payment, PayPal will take the money from your registered card.

    This was until the changes of Delcampe fee system. Now Delcampe requires to choose payment method to new subscription. When you tap on button “Add a payment method” you are offered to choose PayPal or Manopay. After you choose “pay with PayPal”, you must accept following declaration “I want to use MasterCard xxx for automatic payments to Delcampe. I understand that if this payment method is unavailable, the payment method used will follow PayPal Policies. I can also change my payment method or cancel this authorization in my Settings.”

    It still is in the new system, when you renew with PayPal you will receive a message from PayPal telling you that you can use your balance. I did it this morning and it worked fine, although I agree that is not obvious from what you might read before you actually sign up, but I think that is in the way it reads rather than what actually happens.

    It still is in the new system, when you renew with PayPal you will receive a message from PayPal telling you that you can use your balance. I did it this morning and it worked fine, although I agree that is not obvious from what you might read before you actually sign up, but I think that is in the way it reads rather than what actually happens.

    Thanks! I received the confirmation from PayPal that there will be used the PayPal balance.
