Mangopay for payment on other sites

    Let's say that I'll have a certain amount of $ or Eur on my Mangopay.
    I would like to buy on other sites with the Mangopay accumulated money.
    On most sites, I can do it with my Paypal account.
    On how many other sites can I pay with my Mangopay accumulation (without transfering the money to my bank) ?

    Most likely not on any. There are still a few people here who think Mangopay is easy. But in order to pay with the money somewhere else, you probably have to get it into your bank account first and then deposit it from there into your Mangopay account on the other platform. And only then can you pay with it there. Brave new and easy Delcampe world...

    Mangopay can also be problematic for sellers outside of Europe. Some banks in other countries charge significant fees to accept an international transfer from a European financial institution.
    In addition, international bank transfers outside of Europe to certain countries are notoriously unreliable. This can result in the irretrievable loss of the relevant funds.
    By contrast, Paypal funds are relatively easily and safely accessible in most countries.

    to be honest, you don't have the choice. You have to accept the MP-payments - else you have to close your account.

    Every one until this moment is paying me with Paypal.

    And for professional sellers it becomes quite difficult with MangoPay if you are not living in a country where you have official documents in a language that is OK for verifying your account. I have not yet figured out how to do so and cannot withdraw any money from my MangoPay account. I do not want to end up paying huge fees to get my documents translated. At least before the recent changes I could use it to pay for my selling fees.....

    Thanks for all the clarification from all the members.
    I have used it all the time (older name) to pay the Delcampe fees.
    I don't want to close it. But my prefered payment site is Paypal.
    Wish all of you lot of health and fun time.

    Yeah, the proof of the company is easy to get in english.
    The problem is the articles of association which is also needed. It is in Swedish and it is not something Bolagsverket translates. So I gut stuck at that.
