My nightmare with Easystore

    I subscribed their service but, after a couple of days, the synch suddenly stopped. Then I started to manually publish new items for sale on delcampe and started to find a way to stop easystore service.

    I looked for the ON button to stop synch (as you can ready in their FAQ): no button!
    I wrote their customer service several times, by email, by contact form. No answer!
    I was able to manually stop the link between ebay and easystore, but Delcampe does not allow to stop third party services.

    The result of this nightmare is: I still have a subscription to easystore, which I don't want anymore, but I am not able to stop it! One item was sold out 2 times... and still no answer from anybody!!!

    My advice: if you ever are evaluating easystore, please stay away... very very far away from them! :angryfire:

    We've had problems with Easystore for all of last week. Items listed on eBay did not appear on Delcampe for seven days in a row.

    Last Friday, I emailed Easystore but have not had a reply. In the past, however, the reply has come from Delcampe, not Easystore - and within a few hours.

    However, this week the items which didn't list last week appeared on Delcampe over a couple of days. Things now seem to be working OK.

    I don't remember ever giving Easystore any bank or card details as so far they have been free-of-charge.

    We've been subscribed to Easystore since June 2014 and for most of that time it has gone smoothly. Sometimes there are problems, so it always pays to check that the sync is working.

    An effective way of doing this is to download a list of your active eBay items. We use eBay's File Exchange but it can also be done by exporting the details from Turbo Lister. We then download a CSV file of all active Delcampe items from the bottom of their "Ongoing Sales" page.

    We then cut and paste lists of the eBay item numbers and Delcampe reference numbers (which are the corresponding eBay numbers) into Excel and then use conditional formatting to highlight duplicate cells in the colour red. If an item isn't properly synched it will appear in one of columns in white.

    I won't be cancelling Easystore as, in 21 months, it has brought us over 3,000 sales on Delcampe.

    Contact Delcampe support. They are the customer service for EasyStore on the eBay-Delcampe sync.

    There has been a problem on the eBay end of the API. eBay has been failing to send sold notifications to Delcampe instructing Delcampe to end items sold on Delcampe. But Delcampe notifications to eBay of Delcampe sold items continues to work correctly.

    This eBay created problem has been occurring for about two weeks. So, if you use the sync check your sold items on eBay since about 17 March & make sure you manually end them on Delcampe to be safe.

    Delcampe contacted eBay to verify the bug problem & were told as of yesterday or today (Friday) that the bug has been fixed at the eBay end & things should be returning to "normal". Unfortunately, so far I have not seen the sold items on eBay automatically closing on Delcampe. I continue to manually end items on Delcampe that have sold on eBay.

    Dimitri at Delcampe support has been fantastic! He has communicated clearly, checked with Delcampe technical staff who have in turn been contacting eBay for updates. He also let a couple of upset Delcampe buyers know that it was a technical problem beyond my control.

    So :applause: for Dimitri & Delcampe!

    I hope that eBay gets the problem fixed properly & we can get back to normal operations.

    Anyone got an update on the Easystore sync? It's remained broken this week, sourced to eBay's end.

    I've got a support request in with Dimitri, but thought I'd check in with any other sellers who use it to see what's happening for you.
