it seems to me that you take care for cases of minor interest in this formum.
as you probably know, the german Forum is not often visited by members of the D-Team. Please tell me how I can contact YOU to repeat my request for an issue of moreimportance than the spanish Icon.
The keyword is: permanent error in address-details on Delcampe incoices.
    Thanks for making contact.:hello:

I also post it here - else the forumers might think, we have sort of secrets, that we don't want to share ;)

This was a quick response - hope you are also able to solve this problem - it might be to the benefit of most sellers.
Especially those who print out their invoices. The address given by the system is always wrong in details: The so-called Country code should be omitted. For instants:
Swiss adresses always get a CH before the postal code. This will be issued similar for all countries. BUT Postal authorities point out, that a correct address may NOT have those non-official codes - instead of it, the full Name of Country must be written. the reason is because most of those addresses are postally scanned and sorted by postcodes.
If my address is correctly written as "8121 Doomstown" all works well. but if it reads CH-8121 Doomstown, it cannot be sorted automatically. This leaves to delay or missendings. You have understood that for Belgian addresses. THEY are correct (without B-) But most bad are dutch, english or US-adresses. They have mixed codes consisting of letters and numbers (I hope you know that?) and if you add there a "NL" a "GB" or an "US" the confusion is complete. here is an example: received from you as E-Mail (not correct)
    Mr. XY
    XX- LANE
    GB-GU34 4PG BINSTED
    VEREINIGTES KÖNIGREICH

same address reads as correct, if I open the article:
    MR. XY
    XX-Lane
    Binsted
    Hampshire
    GU34 4PG
    VEREINIGTES KöNIGREICH

Please let me know, if you have understood, what I tried to say?
    Thanks

Don't forget Canadian postcodes are alphanumeric as well.

For English postcodes, it is no longer required to include the county name (Hampshire in your example) if the postcode is quoted

As far as I know, U.S. postcodes are in the 12345 or 12345-6789 format, the letters for the state are NOT part of the postcode.

The state letters should follow the city name, but they are not part of the postcode (ZIP code).
Usually the postcode follows the city name and the state letters, but they are two separate elements of the address.
    Here's a guide from USPS:

    Link (http)

    Look at points 1.4.2 f and g.
