Not seeing the username of buyers for past sold items

Hello, suddenly I cant't see the usernames anymore of the people who buy items in the past, when searching for items. I used to be able to do this when the person didn't choose to be private.

    Now I see "Buyer 1".

    Hello "pat2dv",

    Thank you for your message.

Since Wednesday, all our sales are now anonymous.
Therefore, our buyers' nickname are no longer shared. Only the seller of the item and the buyer (obviously) can have access to this information.

    Have a good weekend.

    Kind regards
    Miranda

There was an announcement recently that was, I think, emailed to all Delcampe users that stated something along the lines that buyer and seller IDs would now be anonymous This is why you are seeing Buyer 1 etc

But you should still see the IDs of those you have had transactions with

Indeed "Wycombe1", two emails were sent to our members.
However, only the members that accept to receive our newsletters were informed.
All the others have not received our emails since they do not wish to be contacted.

This information has also been added to our Blog:

    Have all a good Friday!

The cloak of anonymity will make Delcampe very attractive to shill bidders, collectors and dealers alike. Worse still, the anonymity means the shill bidders will never be held to account for their behaviour.

    Delcampe are asking trouble.

Not really because the seller can see the ID's of his buyers. If the seller can see shill bidding he can report it. If the seller his shilling his own items the buyer can withdraw from the sale and also report it.

With the ID's of both buyers and sellers available to all and sundry there IMHO more scope for fraud than without.
