Is there any way to opt out of this lower bids fiasco?
when selling something for £1.20 Less Fees am I really Likely to take an offer of 60p?
At first I responded to offers, declining them, but now they come so thick & fast & ridiculously low I cant be bothered.

I could make a counter offer. How about £1.20? Which is what I listed at and is very good value.

I am probably losing sales over this as who wouldn't want to buy something at listed price if they can make an offer.
They aren't going to come back & pay full price after being declined.
Perhaps the answer is to double prices.

I often find the opposite- they will mostly come back and pay my original asking price probably after checking prices from other sellers.

Put a message on your listings or in your shop stating you do not accept offers on low priced items because after fees it is not economical to do so - or something similar.

My experience so far is that I either reject the offer totally, if it is so low as to be ridiculous, or for a semi-reasonable offer, a counter offer of say 10%, where I am happy to accept such a reduction, will normally elicit a sale.
As Wycombe says, the very low offerers will often come back and pay full price if it is good value, and they're only offering a very low figure because they can. If they don't, then that's their problem as I'm not going to sell at a loss.

I might be tempted a bit lower than 10% IF it related to an offer for stock I'd held for a very long time and wanted to move it on, but this hasn't really happened as yet.

All in all, it's a total pain in the proverbial, giving me more work, and I very much doubt if it has added anything of any substance to my sales and therefore Delcampe's commissions.
