    Looks like exaggerated cabbages. Exaggerated items in postcard views were popular in US in early 1900s.

    From the partial postal cancel, I'm guessing it was mailed from the US - N.J. stands for the state of New Jersey. Where it was actually published is harder to say, but since there is no mention of penny postage or British references, probably a card published in the US.
